Set multimeter to RX1 for continuity reading.

Disconnect battery ground cable (para. 3-126).

Connect multimeter positive lead to lead 568 and negative lead to lead 5 of alternator

terminal.

Multimeter should indicate continuity. If continuity is not indicated, there is an open

lead.

Repair broken lead 568 (para. 3-131).

END OF TESTING!
