EQUIPMENT CONDITION

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

l

Right fender splash shield removed (para. 3-301).

NOTE

l

Have drainage container ready to catch coolant.

l

The personnel heater inlet hose and outlet hose are removed the

same. This procedure covers the inlet hose.

a. Removal

1.

Loosen hose clamp (4) and remove heater inlet hose (2) from elbow (1).

2.

Remove nut (7), screw (9), clamp (8), and heater inlet hose (2) from heater (3).

3.

Loosen hose clamp (5) and remove heater inlet hose (2) from oil cooler shutoff valve (6).

b. Installation

1.

Install heater inlet hose (2) on elbow (1) with clamp (4).

2.

Install heater inlet hose (2) on oil cooler shutoff valve (6) with hose clamp (5).

3.

Install heater inlet hose (2) on heater (3) with clamp (8), screw (9), and nut (7).
