Install fan/impeller (14) on heater blower motor (12) with setscrew (15).

Connect lead (34) to heater blower motor lead (35).

Install canister (1) on personnel hot water heater (13) with four washers (16) and screws (17).

Install clip (9) and fresh air control cable (5) on fresh air shutoff rod (2) with new cotter pin (8).

Install clamp bracket (4) and fresh air control cable (5) on bracket (6) with screw (3) and spring

nut (7).

FOLLOW-ON TASKS:

Install personnel heater inlet and outlet hoses (para. 3-291).

l

Check heater for proper operation (TM 9-2320-272-10).
