General mechanic ’s tool kit (Appendix E, Item 1)

EQUIPMENT CONDITION

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

a. Removal

Remove dovetail (3) and spring (2) from door post (1) by inserting screwdriver in notch (4) at end of

dovetail (3) and push in and up.

b. Installation

Install spring (2) and dovetail (3) in door post (1) by inserting screwdriver in notch (4) of dovetail (3) and

pushing down. Release pressure to snap dovetail (3) in place.

FOLLOW-ON TASK: Check cab door for proper operation (TM 9-2320-272-10).
