EQUIPMENT CONDITION

MATERIALS/PARTS

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Locknut (Appendix D, Item 294)

Two insulators (Appendix D, Item 261)

NOTE

This procedure applies to both right and left front cab mounts.

a. Removal

1.

Turn jacking screw (9) until cab weight is supported.

2.

Remove locknut (7), washer (6), and insulator lower half (5) from cab bracket (1). Discard locknut (7)

and insulator (5).

3.

Remove screw (2), washer (3), and insulator upper half (4). Discard insulator (4).

b. Installation

1.

Place new insulator upper half (4) between cab bracket (1) and frame bracket (8).

2.

Install washer (3) and screw (2) on insulator upper half (4), cab bracket (1), and frame bracket (8).

3.

Install new insulator lower half (5) on screw (2) with washer (6) and new locknut (7).

4.

Turn out jacking screw (9) until it is secured all the way down.
