EQUIPMENT CONDITION

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Tailgate closed and secured (TM 9-2320-272-10).

NOTE

Left and right tailgate personnel steps are replaced the same. This

procedure covers the left tailgate personnel step.

Remove two locknuts (5), screws (2), plate (4), and personnel step (3) from tailgate (1). Discard locknuts (5).

Install personnel step (3) and plate (4) on tailgate (1) with two screws (2) and new locknuts (5).
