General mechanic’s tool kit (Appendix E, Item 1)

EQUIPMENT CONDITION

MATERIALS/PARTS

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Rear doors open (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Four lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 400)

NOTE

Blackout switch striker is removed with door check arm bracket

on all doors except left rear.

1.

Remove two screws (9), lockwashers (8), door check arm bracket (12), and two washers (2) from edge

of door (1) and blackout switch striker (13). Discard lockwashers (8).

2.

Remove screw (10), washer (11), and blackout switch striker (13) from edge of door (1).

3.

Remove two nuts (5), lockwashers (6), screws (3), and door check (7) from bracket (4). Discard

lockwashers (6).

1.

Install door check (7) on bracket (4) with two screws (3), new lockwashers (6), and nuts (5).

2.

Install blackout switch striker (13) on edge of door (1) with washer (11) and screw (10).

3.

Install two washers (2) and door check arm bracket (12) on edge of door (1) with two new

lockwashers (8) and screws (9).

FOLLOW-ON TASK: Close rear doors (TM 9-2320-272-10).
