3-368. SIDE PANEL REAR LOCK REPLACEMENT (Contd)

1.

Position lock (11) over lock handle shank (14) and studs (15).

2.

Slide lockbolt retainer (16) over lockbolt (12) and install on door frame (18) with two screws (17).

3.

Install lock (11) on side panel (13) and studs (15) with four new lockwashers (10) and nuts (9).

4.

Install washer (8) and nut (7) on lock (11) and lock handle shank (14).

5.

Install two clevises (2) on locking arms (3) with two pins (4) and new cotter pins (1).

6.

Install lock cover plate with insulation (6) on side panel (13) with eight screws (5).

FOLLOW-ON TASK: Retract and secure van side panel (TM 9-2320-272-10).
