General mechanic’s tool kit (Appendix E, Item 1)

EQUIPMENT CONDITION

MATERIALS/PARTS

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Cotter pin (Appendix D, Item 51)

1. Open door (6).

2.

Remove cotter pin (4), pin (2), and door check arm (3) from bracket (1). Discard cotter pin (4).

NOTE

Assistant will help with step 3.

Remove fifteen screws (5) and door (6) from van body (8).

4.

Remove sixteen screws (12), hinge seal retainer (11), weather stripping (9), hinge (7), and outer

hinge seal (10) from door (6).

1.

Install outer hinge seal (10), hinge (7), weather stripping (9), and hinge seal retainer (11) on door (6)

with sixteen screws (12).

NOTE

Assistant will help with step 2.

2.

Install door (6) on van body (8) with fifteen screws (5).

3.

Install door check arm (3) on bracket (1) with pin (2) and new cotter pin (4).

4.

Close door (6).
