Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

l

Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Lockwasher (Appendix D, Item 354)

Nine tiedown straps (Appendix D. Item 685)

l

Right splash shield removed (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Close water manifold drainvalve (1) on right side of engine (3).

Close coolant outlet drainvalve (2) on right side of engine (3).

Have drainage container ready to catch excess coolant.

Loosen clamp (27) and remove hose (20) from water manifold drainvalve (1).

Remove nut (10), lockwasher (9), clamps (12) and (24), washer (22), and screw (23) from oil dipstick

tuba bracket (8) and oil dipstick tube (11). Discard lockwasher (9).

Remove screw (18) and clamp (19) from cab support (13).

Remove three tiedown straps (21) from hose (20), fuel line (26), and electrical harness (25). Discard

tiedown straps (21).

Loosen clamp (7) and remove hose (6) from coolant outlet drainvalve (2).

Remove screw (16), washer (15), and clamp (14) from engine access cover (5).

Remove two tiedown straps (17) from hose (6) and two transmission oil cooler lines (4). Discard

tiedown straps (17).
