Two lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 400)
Tiedown strap (Appendix D, Item 685)

Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).
a. Removal

Open toolbox door (12).
Disconnect engine coolant heater harness (3) from engine coolant heater (22).
Remove nut (13), lockwasher (14), and ground wire (21) from terminal stud (15) on heater pump (19).
Discard lockwasher (14).

Remove nut (18), lockwasher (201, and wire (17) from terminal stud (16) on heater pump (19).
Discard lockwasher (20).
5.
Remove screw (7), nut (6), and clamp (8) from bracket (9).
6.
Remove tiedown strap (5) from engine coolant heater harness (3). Discard tiedown strap (5).
7.
Disconnect engine coolant heater harness (3) from control box (1). and slide harness (3) through
grommet (4) in firewall (2) and grommet (10) in toolbox (11).
b. Installation
1.
Slide engine coolant heater harness (3) through grommet (4) in firewall
toolbox (11) and connect to control box (1).
2.
Install new tiedown strap (5) on engine coolant heater harness (3).

Install engine coolant heater harness (3) on bracket (9) with clamp (8), screw (7), and nut (6).
4.
Connect engine coolant heater harness (3) to engine coolant heater (22).
5.
Install wire (17) on terminal stud (16) with new lockwasher (20) and nut (18).
6.
Install ground wire (21) on terminal stud (15) with new lockwasher (14) and nut (13).
7.
Close toolbox door (12).
