EQUIPMENT CONDITION

• Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

• Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).

If vehicle is equipped with a personnel heater, perform step 1.

Disconnect personnel heater wiring harness wires (27) and (28) behind cab dash panel (26).

Disconnect two wires (11) and (13) from circuit breaker (12).

Disconnect wire (7) and front wiring harness lead (10) behind cab dash panel (26).

Disconnect wire (9) from battery switch (8).

Remove six tiedown straps (15) from front wiring harness (14). Discard tiedown straps (15).

Remove nut (5), lockwasher (4), screw (16), and wire (3) from diagnostic connector (6). Discard

lockwasher (4).

Remove four screws (24), clips (25), and wires (1) from relay (2).

8.

Remove screw (17), clamp (18), and wire (19) from cab (23).

9.

Loosen screw (20) and remove wire (19) from heater electrical connector (21) and grommet (22).
