EQUIPMENT CONDITION

MATERIALS/PARTS

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

l

Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).

Lockwasher (Appendix D, Item 418)

a. Removal

1.

Disconnect electrical lead (8) from wiring harness (9).

2.

Remove screw (6), ground strap (7), lockwasher (5), and J-nut (2) from bracket (3) and instrument

cluster (1). Discard lockwasher (5).

3.

Remove two nuts (10), screws (4), and amber warning light (11) from instrument cluster (1).

b. Installation

1.

Install amber warning light (11) on instrument cluster (1) with two screws (4) and nuts (10).

2.

Install new lockwasher (5) and ground strap (7) on bracket (3) and instrument cluster (1) with

J-nut (2) and screw (6).

3.

Connect electrical lead (8) to wiring harness (9).

FOLLOW-ON TASK: Connect battery ground cables (para. 3-126).
