Four lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 416)

a. Removal

1.

Remove two screws (9), lockwashers (10), washers (8), and clamps (11) from engine access cover (2)

and move transmission cooler lines (7) to one side. Discard lockwashers (10).

2.

Remove two screws (4), lockwashers (5), washers (3), engine access cover (2), and gasket (1) from

cylinder block (6). Discard lockwashers (5) and gasket (1).

b. Installation

1.

Install new gasket (1) and engine access cover (2) on cylinder block (6) with two washers (3), new

lockwashers (5), and screws (4).

2.

Install transmission cooler lines (7) on engine access cover (2) with two clamps (11), washers (8),

new lockwashers (10), and screws (9).
