Remove eight screws (4), lockwashers (5), washers (6), intake manifold (3), and three gaskets (7) from

cylinder heads (1). Discard lockwashers (5) and gaskets (7). Discard screws (4), lockwashers (5), and

washers (6) from early model engines. Clean gasket remains from intake manifold and cylinder head

mating surfaces.
