Install relay piston (9) in valve cover (2). Use thumb pressure to seat properly.

Apply lubricating oil on new seal ring (10) and install on valve body (1).

8.

Align scribe marks on valve cover (2) and valve body (1) and install valve cover (2) on valve body (1)

with four new lockwashers (7) and screws (6). Tighten screws (6) 12 lb-ft (16 N•m).

FOLLOW-ON TASK:

Install relay valve (para. 3-187 or 3-188).
