EQUIPMENT CONDITION
MATERIALS/PARTS

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Two locknuts (Appendix D, Item 291)
l
Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).
Lockwasher (Appendix D, Item 381)
a. Circuit Breaker Harness Removal
NOTE
Tag wires for installation.
1.
Disconnect wire (2) from circuit breaker (1).
2.
Remove two screws (4) and clamps (3) from wiring harness (15) and van body (16).
3.
Remove locknut (10), screw (13), and clamp (14) from spare tire carrier mounting bracket (5).
Discard locknut (10).
4.
Remove locknut (6), screw (12), washer (11), wires (8) and (9), and lockwasher (7) from spare tire
carrier mounting bracket (5). Discard locknut (6) and lockwasher (7).
5.
Remove wiring harness (15) from van body (16).
b. Circuit Breaker Removal
1.
Disconnect emergency lamp wiring harness (18) from circuit breaker (1).
2.
Remove two screws (17) and circuit breaker (1) from van body (16).
c. Repair
For van wiring harness repair, refer to para. 3-131.
d. Circuit Breaker Installation
1.
Install circuit breaker (1) on van body (16) with two screws (17).
2.
Connect emergency lamp wiring harness (18) to circuit breaker (1).
e. Circuit Breaker Harness Installation
1.
Install new lockwasher (7) and wires (8) and (9) on spare tire carrier mounting bracket (5) with
washer (11), screw (12), new locknut (6).
2.
Install wiring harness (15) on spare tire carrier mounting bracket (5) with screw (13), clamp (14),
and new locknut (10).
3.
Install two clamps (3) and wiring harness (15) and van body (16) with two screws (4).
4.
Connect wire (2) to circuit breaker (1).
