Clean all parts (para 2-14).

Inspect channels (5) and (16) for cracks and bends. Replace channels (5) or (16) if cracked or broken.

Inspect retainers (2), (3), and (10), spacer plate (13), and strap (14) for bends and brakes. Replace

retainers (2), (3), or (10), spacer plate (13), or strap (14) if bent or broken.

Inspect hinge (21) for cracks, breaks, corrosion, and proper operation.

Inspect inner skin (24) and outer skin (12) for tears and punctures. Replace inner skin (24) or outer

skin (12) if tom and punctured.

Inspect panel frame (7) for cracks and bends. Replace panel frame (7) if cracked or broken.
