SPECIAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Vehicle must be on a level surface.
NOTE
Left and right doors are maintained basically the same way. This
procedure covers the left door except where otherwise indicated.
a. Removal
1.
Remove two screws (5), lockwashers (6), strike (7), and door check (1) from door (4). Discard
lockwashers (6).
2.
Remove fifteen screws (3) and door (4) from van body (2).
b. Disassembly
1.
Remove two screws (13) and angle bracket (12) from outer panel (11).
2.
Remove four screws (14), lockwashers (15), and clamp (16) from outer panel (11). Discard
lockwashers (15).
3.
Remove four screws (18), two screws (8), washers (9), bushings (10), locknuts (17), and rack (19)
from outer panel (11). Discard locknuts (17).
