EQUIPMENT CONDITION

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
l
Van body sides fully extended and secured
(TM 9-2320-272-10).
NOTE
All hinged end panels are removed the same way This procedure
covers the left rear hinged end panel.
1.
Remove sixteen screws (18) from end panel hinge (21) and side panel (20).
NOTE
Assistant will help with step 2.
2.
Remove panel frame (7) as an assembly from side panel (20).
b. Disassembly
1.
Remove sixteen screws (19), hinge (21), and seal (22) from panel frame (7). Discard seal (22).
2.
Remove twenty-seven screws (8), retainer (10), and seal (9) from panel frame (7). Discard seal (9).
3.
Remove ten screws (1), retainers (2) and (3), and seal (4) from channel (5). Discard seal (4).
4.
Remove eighteen rivets (6), twenty screws (17), and channels (5) and (16) from outer skin (12) and
inner skin (24). Discard rivets (6).
5.
Remove two screws (15), strap (14), and spacer plate (13) from outer skin (12).
NOTE
l
Perform steps 6 and 7 only if skins are to be replaced. See task c.
l
Assistant will help with steps 6 and 7.
6.
Remove twelve rivets (11) and outer skin (12) from panel frame (7). Discard rivets (11).
7.
Remove thirty screws (25), eighteen screws (23), and inner skin (24) from panel frame (7).
