Clutch collar and shifter must be properly installed to ensure

proper PTO operation. Ensure clutch collar internal splines face

away from PTO mounting flange and thick edge of shifter fork

faces shifter shaft.

Position splined end (19) of clutch collar (13) over PTO shaft (18).

Position finger ends (6) of shifter fork (6) in center groove (12) of clutch collar (13).

Install new O-ring (2) on shifter shaft (4).

Place shift shaft (4) through PTO housing bore (11) and fork (6) and install with setscrew (7) into

hole (3). Tighten setscrew (7) 7-9 lb-ft (10-12 N•m).

Place detent ball (10), spring (9), and dowel (8) into PTO housing bore (1).

Install cover plate (15) on PTO housing (14) with four washers (16) and screws (17). Tighten screws

(17) 18-24 lb-ft (24-32 N•m).
