Exhaust pipe removed (para. 3-50).

Cotter pin (Appendix D, Item 84)

Two locknuts (Appendix D, Item 307)

Cotter pin (Appendix D, Item 66)

Remove cotter pin (9), washer (10), and PTO control cable (5) from PTO select lever (11). Discard

cotter pin (9).

Loosen nut (13) and remove cable pin (12) from PTO control cable (5).

Remove two locknuts (7), screws (4), clamp (3), PTO control cable (5), and spacer (2) from bracket (6).

Discard locknuts (7).

NOTE

Perform step 4 only if bracket requires replacement.

Remove two screws (1) and bracket (6) from PTO (8).

Remove six screws (18) and access cover (19) from shift panel (15).

Remove two nuts (24), screws (28), clamp (27), PTO control cable (5), and spacer (26) from shift

panel (15).

Remove cotter pin (17), washer (20), clevis pin (23), and control cable (5) from control lever (16).

Discard cotter pin (17).

Loosen nut (22) and remove cable clevis (21) from PTO control cable (5).

Remove grommet (25) and PTO control cable (5) from firewall (14).
