Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Air reservoirs drained (TM 9-2320-272-10).
GENERAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Do not disconnect air lines before draining air
reservoir.
WARNING
Do not disconnect air lines before draining air reservoirs. Small
parts under pressure may shoot out with high velocity causing
injury to personnel.
1.
Remove nut (5), screw (2), and clamp (3) from supply hose (4) and remove supply hose (4) from
pressurized valve (6) and pressurized valve adapter (1).
2.
Remove locknut (26), screw (24), clamp (25), and power steering pump hose (28) from bracket (22).
Discard locknut (26).
3.
Remove power steering pump hose (28) from pressurized valve connector (27) and adapter (20).
4.
Remove five tiedown straps (18) from pressure hose (7) and vent hose (8). Discard tiedown straps (18).
5.
Remove pressure hose (7) and bushing (17) from toe (16) and pressurized valve connector (31).
6.
Remove vent hose (8) and bushing (15) from toe (14) and pressurized valve connector (30).
7.
Remove air line (9) from shutoff valve (10) and alcohol evaporator (13).
8.
Remove drain valve (11) and elbow (12) from alcohol evaporator (13).
9.
Remove adapter (20) from power steering pump (21).
10.
Remove shutoff valve (10) from air compressor (19).
11.
Remove screw (29) and bracket (22) from radiator support bracket (23).
