7-73.3. TOW LIGHT ASSEMBLY REPAIR (M984E1) (CONT).

a. Removal.

(1)

Remove two locknuts (1), screws (2), and four

emergency straps (3).

Tag and mark wires before removing.

●

Cut plastic cable ties as necessary.

Disconnect 11 connectors (4) from

connectors (5).

(3)

Push 11 connectors (4) back on wires (6)

and remove pins (7) and washers (8).

NOTE

Mark position of ground wire and screw to

aid installation.

Remove screw (9), lockwasher (10), and

connector (11).

Remove two ground wires (12) from

connector (11).

Remove nut (13), lockwasher (14), and connector (15) from tow light tab (16).

Remove eight wires (17) from connector (15).

Remove eight pins (18) from wires (17).
