7-7. PARKING BRAKE HEAT SHIELD REPLACEMENT

NOTE

The following procedure applies to vehicles with serial numbers

USBL Eff. 1 through 44824.

Remove two capscrews (1), lockwashers (2), and heat shield (3) from parking brake bracket (4). Discard

lockwashers (2).

Install heat shield (3) to parking brake bracket (4) with two lockwashers (2) and capscrews (1). Tighten

capscrews (1) to 6 lb-ft (8 N

m).
