If voltage regulator was not replaced during inspection and

alternator does not pass bench test, replace voltage regulator and

retest.

The 60 ampere alternator, when tested at 2500 rpm under a full load, will produce 26-30 volts at

60 amperes. Proper adjustment is 27.5-28.5 volts.
