Wheels may be raised several inches to
prevent oil loss (TM 9-2320-283-10).

REMOVAL.
1.
Eight nuts (3) and

Several blows with a
gasket (4).
hammer may be needed
to loosen shaft.

Discard item (4).

CLEANING AND INSPECTION

Clean and inspect.

INSTALLATION.

New gasket (4).
Put gasket compound on both
sides.

Shaft (1) and new
Install in item (5).

Eight nuts (3) and

Torque between 90 and
