Repair of equalizer beam is limited to

replacement of bushings.

Use this

procedure to replace any bushing on

either equalizer beam.

The tools

shown in this procedure can be used

with the equalizer beam on or off the

vehicle.

1. Rear of frame (1).

a. Using suitable lifting

device, raise until weight

of vehicle is off item

b. Support with jack stands.

Use jack stands with a

minimum ten ton capa-

city.

lic jack.
