Remove from item (2).
Remove from item (2).
Remove from rear cover of
item (1).
Clean.
Inspect.
Install into rear cover of
item (1).
Install onto item (2).
Install onto item (2) and
torque item (6) to 480-600
lb-ft.
NOTE
Use tool No. J-3453 to
prevent item (4) from
turning.
It may be necessary to
tap item (4) with a soft
face hammer for it to
slide off of item (2).
Use a slide hammer and
puller to remove item
(3). Discard item (3).
Refer to paragraph 3-4.
Refer to paragraph 3-5.
Use a suitable oil seal
installation tool.
Coat splines of item
(2) with OE-HDO-10 lub-
ricating oil for ease
of installation.
Use tool No. J-3453 to
prevent item (4) from
turning.
Follow-on maintenance action required:
Install drive shaft (TM 9-2320-
283-20).
