PUMP PTO solenoid operation is checked by listening to audible click and feeling

for vibrations at PUMP PTO solenoid.

When PUMP PTO switch is put to on position

(WP 0004).

Do not start engine during this procedure.

Failure to comply may result

in serious injury or death to personnel.

Step 3.

Push battery disconnect switch to on position (WP 0007).

While an assistant puts cab

PUMP PTO switch to on and off positions (WP 0004), check if PUMP PTO solenoid

operates.

If PUMP PTO solenoid does not operate, go to Step 6.

Step 4.

Pull battery disconnect switch to off position (WP 0007).

Check PUMP PTO drive shaft

for loose fasteners, sloppy slip collar connection, binding, and damage.

If PUMP PTO drive shaft shows indication of a sloppy slip collar

connector, binding, or damaged, replace PUMP PTO drive

shaft (WP 0154).
