Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful

vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing.

To avoid injury or death, keep away

from open fire and use in well-ventilated area.

If adhesive, solvent, or sealing

compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

NOTE

Perform Steps (1) through (4) if fittings were removed.

1.

Apply sealing compound to threads of reducer (7).

NOTE

Install reducer and fitting as noted prior to removal.

2.

Install reducer (7) on fitting (1).

3.

Install fitting (6) on reducer (7).

4.

Install line (5) on fitting (6).

5.

Install strainer (3), gasket (2), and fitting (1) on strainer body (4).
