Do not attempt to lift SCBA seat

without the aid of an assistant and suitable lifting device.

With the aid of an assistant and a suitable lifting device, install SCBA seat (2) on SCBA seat mount (3) with

four locknuts (1) and tighten to 70 lb-ft (95 N•m).

Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful

vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing.

To avoid injury or death, keep away

from open fire and use in well-ventilated area.

If adhesive, solvent, or sealing

compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

3.

Apply sealant to 4 locknuts (1) to mark torque point.
