SCBA TANK ACCESS DOOR/REAR STEP BUZZER COMPARTMENT DOOR INSTALLATION

NOTE

SCBA tank compartment doors, stowage compartment (lower front driver side), and rear

step buzzer compartment door are installed similarly.

Front SCBA tank compartment door

shown.

1.

Install seal (9) on SCBA tank compartment door (1).

2.

Install twist lock (14) on SCBA tank compartment door (1) with retainer (13), lockwasher (12), and screw (11).

3.

Install two inserts (10) on hinge (4).

4.

Install two seals (9) on hinge (4).

Install hinge (4) on SCBA tank compartment door (1) with rubber bumper (8), three screws (7), washers (6),

and locknuts (5).

6.

Install SCBA tank compartment door (1) and hinge (4) on vehicle with two inserts (3) and screws (2).

7.

Close SCBA tank compartment door (1) (WP 0008).
