• Does temperature gauge read within the
limits after a normal warm up period?

CHECK FOR LEAKS AND COOLANT TEMPERATURE
• Check vehicle for oil, fuel, and coolant leaks. Refer
to appropriate section to repair any leaks.
• Warm up engine to normal operating
temperature. Read vehicle temperature gauge.

Troubleshooting Index
(WP 0005 00) to troubleshoot
engine cooling system for high
temperature. If no problems
are found, go to Test NG 31.
NOTE
After completing repair, return
to the GO-Chain tests to verify
that the problem is fixed and no
other problem exists.
NOTE
Test GO1, VTM Connections and Checkout must be
performed before running any other STE/ICE–R test.
