• Is GO still displayed?
• Compare number to test
limits as listed below.
• Problem due to either weak
batteries or tight engine.
• Go to battery tests, NG 81.
• Resistance is low.
• Look for short in starter circuit.
• If short is not found, replace
starter motor (WP 0088 00).
• Is resistance high?
• Resistance is high
in starter circuit.
• Proceed to step 4.
• Is starter circuit resistance within
limits as listed above?
• Proceed to step 3.

• Try to crank engine again.
• If GO is still displayed after
crank attempt, starter is not
being energized.
• Proceed to step 4.
NOTE
After repair, rerun GO Chain tests (WP 0017 00) to
verify that problem is fixed and no other problems exist.
