MEASURE FUEL PRESSURE AT HIGH IDLE:

• Press TEST.

• Start engine (TM 9-2320-361-10) and watch display.

• Accelerate engine and hold at high idle (1000–1800 RPM).

• Compare number on display with fuel pressure values

listed below.

• Checked for crimped or broken lines.

• Replace fuel filters (WP 0063 00 and WP 0064 00).

• Check vehicle throttle linkage for full travel and

proper adjustment. Repair if necessary (WP 0070 00).

• If reading is still low, refer to Mechanical Systems

Troubleshooting Index (WP 0007 00) to diagnose fuel

system.

After completing repair, rerun GO Chain
