Test GO 1 (WP 0017 00), VTM Connections and Checkout

must be performed before running any other STE/ICE-R test.

WARNING

Ensure fuel is shut off before

proceeding, or engine may prematurely

start and cause injury to personnel.

CHECK ENGINE TIGHTNESS:

• Rotate engine by hand and

check for tightness.

• Does engine rotate freely?

Refer to Mechanical System

Troubleshooting Index (WP 0007 00) to

diagnose engine.

• Replace starter motor (WP 0088 00).

NOTE

After completing repair, rerun GO Chain

tests (WP 0017 00) to verify that problem

is fixed and no other problems exist.
