(17) Install steel thrust washer (24) and fiber thrust washer

(25) on armature (14).

(18) Install preformed packing (26) on field ring (3).

and clothing. Keep away from open fire

and use in a well-ventilated area.

If

adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound

gets

on

skin

or

clothing,

wash

immediately with soap and water. Failure

to

comply

may

result

in

injury

to

personnel.

(19) Apply sealing compound to threads of six screws (27).

(20) Install commutator end housing (28) on field ring (3) with

six sealing washers (29) and screws (27).
