M1085/M1086 Removal.

(1)

Remove six stakes (1) from cargo bed (2).

(2)

Remove self-locking nut (3) and screw (4) from

brace (5) and cargo bed (2).

Discard self-locking

nut.

(3)

Remove 10 collars (6) and bolts (7) from cargo bed

(2).

(4)

Perform step (3) on right side of cargo bed.

CAUTION

NOTE

Left and right braces are removed the same

way.

Left side brace shown.

When removing bolts, continuous removal of

collars is mandatory.

Failure to comply will

result in seizing of collars to bolts.

NOTE

Perform steps (3) and (4) on M1085.

Left and right sides of cargo bed are

removed the same way.

Left side shown.

Step (3) requires the aid of an assistant.
