CARGO BED REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT)

a. M1083/M1084 Removal.

(1)

Remove four stakes (1) from cargo bed (2).

(2) Remove self-locking nut (3) and screws (4) from

bracket (5) and cargo bed (2).

Discard self-locking

nut.

(3) Perform step (2) on right side brace.

Wear appropriate eye protection when

working under vehicle due to the

possibility of falling debris. Failure to

comply may result in injury to personnel.

NOTE

Left and right braces are removed the same

way.

Left side brace shown.
