POWER TAKE-OFF (PTO) REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT)
(14.2) Position transmission oil cooler return tube (18.2)
on fitting (17).
(14.3) Tighten transmission oil cooler return tube (18.2) to
94-104 lb-ft (127-141 N•m).
(14.4) Install preformed packing (18.3) on 90-degree
fitting (18.4).
(14.5) Position 90-degree fitting (18.4) on transmission
(7).
(14.6) Tighten jamb nut (18.5) on 90-degree fitting (18.4).
(14.7) Install preformed packing (18.6) on 90-degree
fitting (18.4).
NOTE
Perform steps (14.4) through (14.7) on
vehicles not previously equipped with
corrosive enhanced fittings.
