NOTE

Air cleaner dump valve should be serviced after any operation

through sand, mud, or water.

a.

Raise and secure hood (para. 3-9).

b.

Squeeze dump valve (2) to clear any sand, mud, or water from air cleaner

assembly (1).

c.

For vehicles equipped with a deep water fording kit, loosen clamp (3) and

remove cap (4). Clean and install cap (4) and tighten clamp (3).

d.

Lower and secure hood (para. 3-9).
