WARNING
Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working
around vehicle.
Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.
Jewelry
and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment or
severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.
Step 11.
Disconnect THAAD compression frame harness left elevation cylinder stowed switch
connector.
Check for continuity across wire 1435 from THAAD compression frame
harness left elevation cylinder stowed switch connector, terminal B to a known good
ground.
If there is no continuity, repair wire 1435 (TM 9-2320-325-14&P) or replace
THAAD compression frame harness (WP 0087).
Step 12.
Check for continuity across wire 1964 from THAAD control valve harness VIM No. 2, 40
pin connector, terminal 36 to THAAD compression frame harness left elevation cylinder
stowed switch connector, terminal A.
If there is continuity, replace left elevation cylinder stowed switch (WP 0072).
