•
Do not tow M871R, M871A1R, or M871A2R with M52, M52A1, or M52A2 truck tractor. The
M52 five-ton truck tractor’s inherent design capabilities are not compatible with the semitrailer,
and if used, would result in a serious compromise to the safety of personnel and equipment.
•
Be sure all personnel stand clear of the towing vehicle and semitrailer during coupling operations.
Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Can be towed by M915 for improved highway use only, or the M818, M931 series, and M932
series for either highway or off-road.
