CONDITION/INDICATION

Can rear side marker light harness wire 1435 be repaired?

DECISION

Repair - Repair wire 1435 (WP

0055). Go to (Step 4 - Do all taillights and stoplights operate?) to verify problem is

solved.

No Repair - Replace rear side marker light harness (WP

0059). Go to (Step 4 - Do all taillights and stoplights

operate?) to verify problem is solved.

STEP 4

Do all taillights and stoplights operate?

1.

If disconnected, connect wire 1435 to LED composite light ground wire.

2.

Ensure vehicle is returned to normal operating condition.

3.

Have assistant turn engine start switch to ON. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

4.

Have assistant turn ON lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

5.

Have assistant fully depress brake pedal. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

Observe taillight and stoplights.

7.

Have assistant release brake pedal. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

8.

Have assistant turn OFF lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

Have assistant turn engine start switch to OFF. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).
