CONDITION/INDICATION
Can rear side marker light harness wire 1435 be repaired?
DECISION
Repair - Repair wire 1435 or connection (WP
0055). Go to (Step 8 - Do rear side marker lights operate?) to verify
problem is solved.
No Repair - Replace rear side marker light harness (WP
0059). Go to (Step 8 - Do rear side marker lights
operate?) to verify problem is solved.
STEP 8
Do rear side marker lights operate?
1.
If removed, install cover on rear junction box (WP
0058).
2.
If removed, install lens cover and two screws (WP
0054).
3.
Ensure vehicle is returned to normal operating condition.
4.
Have assistant turn engine start switch to ON. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
5.
Have assistant turn ON lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).

6.
Observe rear side marker lights.
7.
Have assistant turn OFF lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
8.
Have assistant turn engine start switch to OFF. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Do rear side marker lights operate?
DECISION
All Lights OK - Problem fixed.
Any Lights Out - Problem is not fixed. Problem may have been missed during previous steps of troubleshooting.
Repeat all previous steps of this procedure. Go to (Step 1 - Does at least one rear side or rear marker light
operate?). If problem still exists after all troubleshooting tests are accomplished, contact your Supervisor.
