Cut and remove cable (Figure 1, Item 2) from handle (Figure 1, Item 4) and crossmember (Figure 1, Item 6).

Discard cable.

With the aid of an assistant, remove six locknuts (Figure 1, Item 5), screws (Figure 1, Item 1), and spare tire

bracket (Figure 1, Item 3) from trailer crossmembers (Figure 1, Item 6). Discard locknuts.
