Install washer (Figure 3, Item 2) and sleeve (Figure 3, Item 4) on cable assembly (Figure 3, Item 6) end.

Install cable assembly (Figure 3, Item 6) through hole (Figure 3, Item 5) and install on winch (Figure 3, Item
1).
CAUTION
Ensure there is tension on cable when reeling in cable to prevent knotting and binding. Failure
to comply may result in damage to equipment.
4.
Turn winch rod assembly (Figure 4, Item 5) clockwise until approximately 4 ft (1.2 m) of cable assembly is left.
