Perform Step (5) if flanged bearing is damaged.

Remove flanged bearing (Figure 4, Item 3) from winch rod assembly (Figure 4, Item 2).
NOTE
Allow cushion clamps to remain on cable in Step (6).
6.
Remove three locknuts (Figure 5, Item 2), screws (Figure 5, Item 6), and two cushion clamps (Figure 5, Item
1) on cable (Figure 5, Item 3) from winch bracket (Figure 5, Item 8). Discard locknuts.

Pull cable (Figure 5, Item 5) from hole in tire carrier (Figure 5, Item 4).
