Using lifting device and the aid of an assistant, remove brake drum (Figure 1, Item 6) from hub (Figure 1, Item
3).

Remove lifting device from brake drum (Figure 1, Item 6).
4.
Remove six screws (Figure 1, Item 5), washers (Figure 1, Item 4), hub cap (Figure 1, Item 1), and gasket
(Figure 1, Item 2) from hub (Figure 1, Item 3). Discard gasket.
WARNING
Hub weighs 65 lbs (30 kg). Attach suitable lifting device prior to removal. Failure to comply
may result in injury or death to personnel.
5.
Attach lifting device on hub (Figure 2, Item 4).
